The buttons next to each EQ allows you to kill that specific EQ, pretty simple, and it’s a great function when you want to easily eliminate them during your mix. This is done in shift mode and pressing the buttons for the hot-cues that were set.Torq loves EQ kills and there aren’t many Traktor controllers that support this, even though it’s a function that is built into the software. Shift mode also allows you to delete your hot-cues so that they can be set at different places. Once in shift mode, you can scroll through your effects by rotating the dedicated effect knob, effects 1-3 for either decks A or B.

As you can see we have three effects on and off right here, and you can change the wet/dry with this knob right here.To change the effects, simply hold the shift button and twist the knob to scroll through all the effects throughout traktor.Below that, we have your cue point section and you can set up to five different cue points really easily and delete them easily with the shift button.Below that we have our loop section, and we have predetermined 1, 2, 4, and 8 loops, and you can also scroll through your loops using these plus and minus buttons right here.You can also set your loops manually by using the in and out.Next in the loop section, you have your play/pause button, your cue button, and your fast forward and rewind button, and to the right of that you have your pitch bend.In the middle, we have your mixer section with your crossfader, your load A and B buttons, your volume faders for both deck A and deck B and you also have your EQs with gain.With these buttons right here you can kill your EQs, you can kill your highs, mids, and lows and when you press the gain button, you switch to filter knob, right above that you have a little mouse pad so you can scroll on your screen without having to touch your laptop, and you have these two buttons right here, just like a mouse with your left click and right click.And once you are in a playlist, you can select a song, then you can go into MIDI mode and scroll up and down using those same buttons and that is the M-Audio Torq Xponent mapped with Traktor Pro 2.If you want to find this mapping check our our blog.
